Upcoming Team Yankee League
« on: February 02, 2017, 12:01:52 AM »

Given the number of players new to the game, and the lack of players completing their games in the last league, I've decided to go with a campaign format.

Fee will be $15 per player and players can enter at any time.
The league will not end before 15 June, and will begin March 7.
Players can play as few or as many games as they wish and where they wish.
Official point values will be 70, 85, and 100 (or anything players agree to)
We will have a game form at the store. I would appreciate all the information for feedback to BF.
***All players who play at least 3 games at Asgard and turn in the forms will receive a minimum of $13 prize support. Other prizes will be given.
Games must be Pact versus NATO to count for the campaign.
To track performance, each time you play an opponent for the first time, the VPs will count for your personal score.
All games will count for the campaign.
Players can play for either or both sides.
Highest Five VP scores for each player will be used to determine rankings.

Playing the Games:
Unless both players agree otherwise we will use Battle Plans to Determine scenarios.

Special Rules:

1: We will use Flames of War V4 scoring in lieu of the Team Yankee system.

2: Stinger teams WILL be allowed for US:

2x Stinger Teams 1 Point
4x Stinger teams 2 Point

Infantry attachment, Assault 5

Stinger
56" range, RoF 1, FP 4+, Guided AA
Other stats same as Dragon Team.

Proxy an appropriate small base team (ww2 bazooka, tank hunter, perhaps a jeep team).

3: Soviets can use new released models with the cards from the boxes.
(Sub Gaskin Platoon for any Gopher Platoon, sub BRDM-2 for any BMP recon platoon, add one Spandrel-AT platoon as support option, add one Spandrel-AT platoon as option in BMP Battalion, no BTRs or T55s)

Dustin Fowler - East "Best" Germans.

Edit:

What is the proposed point limit(s)?  Another escalation league?

I see a lot of guys talking about 85 points on the official forums which I take it is an effort to cut down on the model count?

That seems like a good idea to me...

Edit 2:

If I'm running soviets and want to use say a platoon of T-55s do they have the soviet stats or the East German stats for skill etc.. ?

Can I mix T-72a and T-72m platoons?

Can I mix East German and Soviet formations in the same list?

If I'm running East Germans can I use soviet formations as East German?

Ross,
I'm sorry, but a completely proxies army is not what we are looking for. However, you can likely borrow an army. Or, buy a few boxes and proxy the rest.

There is no paint requirement.
